A Road Trip With A Fabulous Twist

Broward Center for the Performing Arts and local company Slow Burn Theatre present the timeless tale of three fabulous friends and their extraordinary journey through the Australian outback in a tour bus affectionately named Priscilla. Based on the 1994 smash hit film starring Guy Pearce, Hugo Weaving and Terence Stamp, the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical is packed to the rafters with outrageous costumes, vivacious choreography and enough sass to put Ru Paul to shame.

Told through a score of nostalgic, dance-floor hits like I Will Survive, Hot Stuff and It's Raining Men, the heart-warming, uplifting story follows the adventures of drag queens Anthony "Tick" Belrose/Mitzi Mitosis and Adam Whitely/Felicia Jollygoodfellow and trangsender woman Bernadette Bassenger. When Tick's estranged wife calls in a favor, they make the long journey from Sydney to Alice Springs, meeting a host of colorful characters along the way.
