Bursting with life, love and gospel music, there are few better times in the theater to be had than watching Sister Act. Based on the Whoopi Goldberg movie from 1992, this almighty musical follows the story of nightclub singer Deloris, who is forced to hide out in a convent after she witnesses a murder. Initially, she and the nuns don't exactly see eye to eye, but when Deloris takes charge of the convent's choir, discarding the tired hymn book for some rip-roaring gospel, it's apparent each have a lot to teach the other.

This five time Tony nominated show boasts a score from Broadway legend Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast) and has fast become a local theatre favorite. Get ready to rejoice with Sister Act!
